Physical Visit

Most Mount Hope visitors arrive in Borneo via Kuching Airport Malaysia. Mount Hope is generally able to assist visitors with travel from Kuching to Mount Hope.  You can view a road map HERE

Steps...

1.  Fill in an enquiry form HERE
   We will work with you to find out where you might feel most effective in your time with us.
2. Book flights to Kuching, Malaysia. Check you passport validity. From the last day of your Mount Hope stay, you need at least 6 months before passport expiry. 
   We can help with transport from Kuching to Mount Hope.
3. From 3 days before arrival in Kuching you can fill out your Malaysian Immigration form HERE
4. On the road from Kuching to Mount Hope you will cross the Indonesian border. You will need a Visa which you can apply for  HERE

THINGS TO BRING

• Hat
  
• Sunglasses
• Light clothes
• Jandals or breathable footwear 
• Something for cuts or scratches... Betadine or Chrystaderm good.
• Deet or insect repellant. Malaria tablets probably not required. Very few mozzies about now and virtually nil Malaria. Apparently Garlic Oil 5000 keeps Mozzies away and joints functioning as a bonus.
• Tetanus shot should be up to date.

WOMEN

• Long light dress or pants for church
• If working in the school shorts ok so long as they are below the knee.

MEN

• Long light pants for church
• Tidy light shirt for church. Cotton best
• Stout shoes for any building work
  
• Shorts that go down somewhere close to your knees
• Singlets ok
